Looking for any suggestions as to a cheap, good quality weather station for use around the ham shack.  I have a wireless LaCrosse that works ok, but its data update rate SUCKS!  I miss most all the gust front wind speeds as they blow thru.  I would prefer a wired system for real time data flow.

Thanks in advanced!  73's  Chris, w0ace Tulsa, OK.

I'm not sure good and cheap can be applied at the same time. They seem mutually exclusive. Cheap sounds like what you have now. Smiley

Personally, I like the system from Peet Bros. It is NOT cheap, but it's top of the line. Davis also has a good line.

A smoking section in a restaurant makes as much sense as a peeing section in a swimming pool.

There is GOOD
There is CHEAP

BUT there is nothing that is BOTH good and cheap.

Navy ship repair contracting rule #1 (there is no rule #2, or #3...):

The work must be done

a. Well
b. On time
c. Within budget

Pick any two; you cannot have the third.
