I am trying to find a 40-foot telescoping mast that I can use to replace the one I had that was recently destroyed by Hurricane Ike. I would like to find someone in the Houston, Texas area that sells these as shipping on a mast can get expensive. Does not have to be an aluminum mast as long as it is sturdy and can reach about 40 feet up. Anyone know where I can find this in Houston??

Do you have a Lowes ?  They sell one but you might have to order it.

Can't remember the cost but it wasn't too bad.

Contact Houston Amateur Radio in Spring, Texas.  They have what you need.

As mentioned previously, check with Houston Amateur Radio Supply (281-355-7373). I was in the store last Saturday and they had several galvanized steel models in stock. I'm not sure about the length.
