I'm new at this an need some info. I am going to buy a yaseu ft890at with built-in antenna tuner from a friend of mine, an was wondering how far outta wack that the auto tuner in it should tune, 2.0to1  3.0to1 on swr or what?

Thanx,

The FT-890AT is a good old radio....Internal ATU's during that period usually could tune a 3-1 mismatch or a little better depending on the antenna reactance. Have fun.
