Black, but I wish they would come in a powder-coat, baked-on, hard-as-a-rock, easy-to-wax finish. I think Elecraft has the paint mix close, but I wish the green was black and more glossy with less rough texture. But perhaps that is the property of powder-coat finishes? -KR4WM

Color...black. My Daiwa CN-720B SWR meter is brushed chrome, hate the color but the meter is terrific.

Worst color, the shiny chrome color of the MFJ 971 tuner. If the sunlight hits it, your iris shuts down.

Why, not  a portrate of obama on the outside? I get a tingling up my leg just thinking about it , or mabey its just r.f. in the shack ,lol.  seriously, if it had good electronic, features, reasonable price, they couuld use particle board, make it look like an old single wide ...trailer , I wouldn't care , as long as it talks   ..kg4ymc    1, redneck model.. looks like old car up on blocks, 2.yuppie model, ... starbucks logo , with cupholder and capuchino  maker.. 3.moible model ... pickup truck style with lift kit rubber feet ? oh , no I"m on a roll, couuldn't reisit .. have a funny day .. kg4ymc

I'd have to see green, blue or red Icoms before I'd comment on that. I have an HW-8 Heathkit green.. like that.
