Now I'm not saying there is a connection of ANY sort but we lost three big celebrities last week.  Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson.  If you take the first letter of each of their last names and arrange them in the order that they passed away...  Coincidence?  You be the judge (and watch your back!)

People die every day.  Ed was old, Farrah had cancer, the only "surprise" was MJ.

I still use MFJ stuff, no superstition here.  ;-)

MJ croaking was never a suprise factor for myself.  He abused his body so damn bad with all that plastic surgury that I was surprised he lived that long.

And MJ was never in my top 5 great modern artists.  He was in the lower top 10.  To my musical tastes The Beatles are No 1, ELVIS would of course be No 2, The Stones a close No 3, Prince would come in 4th, and believe it or not Barry Manlow would be No 5.

6th--Donna Summer
7th--The Supremes
8th--Al Green
9th--The Tempations/The 4 tops tie for 9th
10th--M Jackson

hi,

while I'm no big MJ fan,
interesting story on cnn today,
the MJ display at the Grammy Museum was
closing down the day he passed away,
they put it all back up.

the curator was showing some of the outfits,
one red jacket, weighed in at 27 Lbs.

For a man who weighted just over 100 Lbs
to wear the jacket and be able to dance and
perform during the concerts, Jackson was in
good shape, even his handshake was not what
the curator expected, he compared it to that
of a boxer handshake.  he said MJ was not only
a singer but an athlete.

MJ was always under the influence of drugs....amazing how much stamina meth can give you.

Interesting coincidence indeed, but what can you do? I have an MFJ tuner. I could never figure it out anyway, so I can't say that it's playing with my mind!
