Over the weekend, I installed a set of Magnecor "CV" spark plug wires in my F-150 truck( V-6).  I found that the wires do eliminate the ignition noise that I could not get rid of previously.
Downside was the cost:  $ 128.00 for 6 wires is steep, but it did work.

My rig mobile is an Icom 706 mk2, and Hustler mobile antenna

Thought I'd pass along my comments, as a number of Hams have asked about these wires.

Good Luck to all.

I too, have installed Magnecor wires in my 1990 Toyota Celica with 706G,AH-4,whip. Mine are KV-85 CN series wires that I had to special order, ~$150.00. They have reduced S7 ignition noise down to where it doesn't register on the S meter anymore. You can still hear some of it but these wires were a massive improvement.
