My TH-D700A has been locking up intermittantly for a while but just recently, it stopped powering up. Currently it does nothing with power applied unless you hit the recessed reset button on the main module then the mic and fan only power up for about 5 seconds then it goes off again. Anyone else have this type of problem? Ideas? I have 3 months left before having it for a year but lost my HRO receipt so I cannot prove the warrentee period.

It pains me to hear of an ill D700. So sad! I assume
you have tried multiple 13.8V power supplies and that
is not the issue. I have found that the D700 does not
tolerate under voltages very well.

If you contact HRO, I'm sure they can pull your
order up in some sort of computer and produce a
duplicate receipt. I doubt they will give you a
hard time.

Sound like you had/have a heat issue where the radio has/is overheating.
