Has anyone upgraded the BLT tuner to handle 25 to 30 watts???If so where did you obtain the parts.Huh I like the simple tune it till the light goes out concept. I use mine with a MFJ QRP RIG on 40 meter mobile. Perhaps I should just get a MFJ 971 for my tentec Scout mobile rig???any suggestions?? Thanks WM8E Bill

BLT? Sounds like a modified "Z" match.

The most important item when using a tuner mobile for any use other than impedance matching, is to place it as close to the antenna as you can to minimize stray capacitance.

In most cases, you'd be better matching the impedance with a shunt reactance as this offers less loss. And with QRP, you need to minimize the losses even more than QRO.
