I want to connect the audio output of my IC-706MkIIG to the Aux audio of the (upgraded) radio in my 2003 Chevy Avalanche.  This is the same connection that would be used on the GM radio to connect a DVD player to.

I know there are Aux interfaces sold for 2002 GM radios, but I can't find anything for the 2003 (and they're not the same, so I'm told).

Does anyone have any info on this topic?

I've not seen the 2002, but the 2003 is a small molex (at least it is on a GMC Denali). If I were doing this, I'd use the earphone jack on the 706 as the feed as it is 100 ohms and a closer match than the 8 ohms speaker output.

As a side light, I don't think you'll like the audio as there is no high frequency rolloff like there is in a good quality mobile speaker.

As an update, a few companies sell interfaces for 2002 GM radios, but I'm not finding one for the 2003 yet.
