Anyone know any more about this radio than what is allready posted on the Universal Radio page?

This particular Kenwood (and a few Yeasu units too) sport a remote display head, but the microphone connects to the main part of the radio. This makes trunk mounting difficult and RF prone. In my opinion, this is a big drawback unless you're driving a large enough vehicle to mount the whole unit under the dash.

I can't say for sure, but seems aweful lot like a TMD 700 without the TNC and GPS aspects. Same chasis, same head, same layout, same specs.
