I have a 2004 Chevy Impala and need help on routing wires through the firewall. I plan on going to the battery with positive and negitive leads for my ICOM 706. Anyone who has done this and has a sugesstion I would appreciate you letting me know how you did it. The wife isn't too happy about me putting a HF rig in the car, so I must be neat and clean with my installation or I guess if she doesn't like it she will just have to walk!
 Thanks in Advance.

Ralph

There is a plug on th epassenger side frame.  If you open the door you will see it.  Run wires through it and under the carpet.  Thats what I did.  There supposedly is a hookup near the glovebox for wiring accessories but I never found it.

I think the connection point is behind the plastic kick panel below the dash and head of the door right were the passengers right foot would be.
