Two meter loop on Buick LeSabre.

I have a 2002 Buick LeSabre. I would like to put a 2 meter KB6KQ loop on it. I am looking for ideas. The car has no trailer hitch. Any help?

Depends on the size of the loop, but a ballmount works well. I'd stay away from trunk lip and similar mounts as they are not sturdy enough.

M Squared makes a wonderful 2 meter loop, and even has stacking kits. If you can find one used, one of the old HyGain halos work well too. Both are good alternatives.

I'm not sure how heavy the metal in the trunk lid of the Buick is, but I once had a halo mounted through the trunk lid of a 1987 Cadillac which worked well.

I simply drilled a 3/8" hole through the trunk lid and used a 3 ft. section of Hustler mast, to get the loop above the vehicle roof, backed up behind the trunk metal with a large 3" diameter "fender washer" which I got at an auto body shop.  At the top of the mast I rigged two guys of heavy monofilament fishing line, which were anchored to both trunk rear corners at the hinges to reduce flipping at highway speed.  This took some adjustment to keep the halo level with wind drag on it, but I drove the rig almost 10 years and made alot of Caddie cruising mobile contacts with it.
