I am not sure how to activate this feature and still scan other channels.  It seems that when I have it activated that it continues to monitor the wx even when I have them skipped.  What am I doing wrong?

I'd like to hear more on this as well.. When I have the weather alert activated, the weather channel is scanned every so many seconds along with the rest of my scanner frequencies - which is fine, but it tends to give me a half second, if not more, of what is being said on the weather channel.

If someone has figured out how to get past this ,please speak up :-)

You can set any memory as the "priority" channel, and then tune the weather station.   Every little bit it will check the priority for activity without stopping the WX.

You can also store the WX as a memory and just change scan resume from Time/busy/or hold.
