There has been a proliferation of inexpensive, asian-made, HF mobile (and VHF) in the last few years. Universally, the are small, not very well made, and VERY inefficient. The Watson is no different. One dead giveaway is the power rating. While not a perfect yard stick, it is an indication of how efficient and well made they are.
You'd be much better off with a HiQ or High Sierra antenna, no matter the model.
