Need Ideas for mounting DJ-5V HT in a toyota terce

My Tercel has the rounded dash and round air veent and would like ideas on how I could mount the HT to the dash without messing it up but still get to it. I will have the antenna cable snake under the passenger side seat to a mirage dual-band amp. Any help is appreciated.

Lots of folks make mounts to hold handhelds. Some of them, like the Lido mounts only use spring pressure to hold the radio. This allows them to become a flying missile in the event of a crash. Here are two who make good, solid mounts:

The other important thing to remember, is to keep the mount away from SRS devices, and vehicle controls.
