I do not understand why the chaps in the US are battling to get mobile mounting kits and extension cables for their IC 7000 radios. I received 6 complete kits each consisting of the following:
1X OPC 1444 cable; 1X MB105 mounting bracket; 1XMB-62 mobile mounting bracket.
Perhaps the Icom importers in the USA are somewhat delinquent in their duties as these accessories are obviously available, even in third world countries.

A Ham Radio Sales place from Indiana, " I'll leave nameless" That was at the Arthur Ham Fest in Illinois. Sold me one of these IC7000 and it's a nice radio enough radio.

But there are several things I'm a little miffed about! Lies!

#1 The guy said Icom has programming software on their site and all I have to do is DL it. That is not true!!!!!!!! Icom on the phone after two days of looking told me that they have no such software.

#2 The Cable sold to me is no good without a stereo to momo converter and a Serial to USB converter and coasts $30 pluss. What's up with that? Especially Since Icom has no such software. Soes that seem to be a come on huh?
