Whats the better ways to remove minor oxidation from the center (silver) tip of a NMO mount?
I was thinking of DeOxit (?).
Thanks in advance, Ken

The oxidation looks bad, but is doesn't hurt performance unless the metal itself has become pitted. If you want to protect it, use silicon grease meant for the purpose. NoOx, OxGard, and similar products should not be used.

Incidentally, a ballpoint eraser works a little better than a lead pencil eraser, but be careful not to penetrate the plating.
