I purchased an older Turbo Tuner on ebay. Item works great except it will not reverse when my screwdriver either bottoms out or tops out.  I have set the TT to every current sensor combination possible with no positive results (to low of current and I get error beebs.
I am using a 706 with a High S 400.
I think I need a firm grade.  The manufacture has had major fire damage.  Can anyone help with this?
thanks, doug  K4gkj@embarqmail.com

If you're talking about a High Sierra HS 1400, the run current is about 300 mils, and the stall about 1,200. I doubt seriously that you need the firmware changed.

I have to assume you don't have any matching network on the antenna as well. If that's correct, go to my web site and look under Antenna Matching.

If you still can't get it to work, send me an e-mail with a more complete description. As in, where and how it is mounted, etc.

Are you saying that the manfacturer, Turbo Tuner, has had a fire at his house?
