the power rating on the larson nmo27b is 150 watts, is this side band ,am,fm ?

It's carrier, and will actually handle somewhat more if it is mounted correctly.

I used to pump 250+ watts into an NMO150. I'd have to replace the whip every so often, but the coil never failed. That coil is still in use after nearly 35 years!
