Toyota Land cruiser ?

Can anyone advise me the best way to run TS120V in my Toyota land cruiser given that it has a 48v system ie:2x12volt batteries.
I am thinking the way to go is to hard wire a 24v-12v transverter then wire directly back to the rig. But am not 100% sure so any help and guidance would be appreciated.

Thankfully, there aren't many 24 volt systems running around. However, if there were, there would be a ready supply for the converters. One thing's for sure, you don't want to use any resistive device. You can't use just one battery either, as the above article alludes to.

My first post here on eham... There are lots of 24V diesel Cruisers here in Canada. Most of us end up using a 24-12V converter with a power distribution block at the end.
I have the 20 amp Solar Converter in my BJ74:

I have a Rigrunner at the end of it, and just plug my FT8800 into it.

Guys with bigger power needs have used the Solar or other charge controller to charge a 3rd 12V battery, and connected all their 12V accessories to it.
A couple have rigged a second alternator to run a dedicated 12V system, but it's a lot of (custom) work and sucks some power.
