Jeff I question why anyone would want to start up an organization like KISS when there already exists an outstanding group known as SMIRK (Six Meter International Radio Klub) which has been around since the early 70's, if not before. There are currently in excess of 6600 members worldwide. SMIRK has contributed greatly over the years to putting countries on 6 meters by supplying equipment to interested operators worldwide in addition to other important support.

I'd like to suggest you check out the SMIRK website at this address http://www.smirk.org/.

Just as an aside, I've been an active 6 meter operator since 1960 and belong to several groups that promote activity on 6 meters, but I must be honest and tell you that none of them have contributed to the high degree SMIRK has.If you have not already done so, I'd like you and the other members of KISS to consider joining this premier group supporting 6 meters worldwide which issecond to none.
