Looking for any established clubs (school, retirement community, scouts...etc.) in the Tucson area.

Want to thin out my overstuffed shack closet of underused HF gear.

I am not a member, but I know the University of Arizona has a ham radio club. The website is http://clubs.asua.arizona.edu/~k7uaz/
If they are like most university clubs they struggle for equipment to be able to use for their members. Contact them at their website.

Actually, knew of them but e-mail to the club president is returned by the university server as unknown address.

Don't figure I should have to play detective tracking them down just to give away some stuff.

Even checked all the listings for Tucson Unified School District, and none mention a ham radio club.

So, guess I'll just add a couple more shelves in the closet.....

That is too bad for them. I guess they all graduated. I was originally going to suggest the ASU ham club but their web page looks even older than  U of A.
Oh well. I am somewhat new at ham radio but I have all the equipment I need right now. I hope to someday have your problem of too much equipment.
Perhaps I will catch you on the air.

I don't know much about Tucson, but the Amateur Radio Council of Arizona website lists clubs in nearby Green Valley and Sierra Vista:

The ARRL database lists several Tucson clubs, including a high school club that might be just what you are looking for:
