My 6 year old daughter, Rachael Ann (http://af6d.com), has brain cancer. Make-A-Wish is sending us to Disney World June 25 - July 1, 2008. I was wondering if Disney World has an HF station. I'd love to work it for just a bit.

Have you made a search on Google? I did and came up with the following:

According to an article about the NOAA National Weather Service (http://www.noaanews.noaa.gov/stories2006/s2638.htm) this states that the Walt Disney World Resort is Storm Ready and that Walt Disney World has an amateur radio club. I did not find information about an actual club.

Along with other information I also found mention to the following repeaters:

147.300 W4WDW
442.000 WA4ABQ
443.400 WR4AMG

Good luck in your quest for more information.

Thank you for the reply. DisneyWorld has already written to me informing me that thewy do not have a station. Addionally, a QSO with another ham confirmed that the ham station had been removed from the Space Center.
