QSL with SASE directly. (Be pateint; we have a limited staff and the cards haven't arrived as of today). We are anticipating having a former BHR crewman present in the radio room to help us kick off our first event.
Organized in 2008, the USS Bon Homme Richard CV/CVA-31 Amateur Radio Association's mission is to commemorate, through amateur radio, the ship and the thousands of men who served aboard her during a career spanning more than 26 years and three major armed conflicts. Despite efforts to save her and converted to a museum, the Navy sold the Bonnie Dick for scrap and she was dismantled in 1992. The club's call sign, N4HCL, reflects the ship's original Navy call designator, NHCL. For more information about the USS Bon Homme Richard CV/CVA-31, visit http://www.ussbhr.org
Other events are planned for later this year and will be posted to ARRL's Special Events Calendar. For more information, email us at N4HCL at yahoo dot com or post your question in this thread. Hope to hear you on the air!
