Does anyone have an idea on how to replace the bulbs (assumed to be small bulbs) inside the unit?  I can not seem to understand how to open the unit to see what is inside.  There have been one or maybe more of the bulbs "out" for some time and I would like to replace them.  JJ.

This is a been there done that...you have to very very carefully get an exacto knife under a corner of the "plastic lable" that goes across the bottom front of the meter. You peel it away from the meter. The screws are under it.
When done the original adhesive should still be sticky enough for the label to go back.
By the way, my new bulb...burned out in less than a year.-James

The bulb is a "grain of wheat" type with leads coming out of each end. I got mine from Kenwood.
