Has anyone had the opportunity to build and use the Fireball 40?

I built and used a Fireball 40mw CW transmitter during the peak of the last cycle. Four "AA" batteries will send your signal from coast to coast and will last the season.

I used an IC735 as the receiver and a minimal antenna.

One 25th of a watt.

Far Out!
