Hi, everyone,

The unofficial English language Mizuho website is back up at a new location:  http://www.mizuhoradio.com  Some of the manuals and schematics haven't been uploaded yet, but everything else is there, including more new pictures and specs for various Mizuho gear.

The Mizuho reflector (mailing list) is now on Yahoo! Groups.  The old reflector on qth.net is effectively dead.  If you have any Mizuho gear or are just interested or curious, please do join us.  The Yahoo! URL is:  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mizuhoradio/  If you don't want to register with Yahoo! you can still join the group.  Follow the directions at http://www.mizuhoradio.com on how to send an e-mail to be added to the reflector.

For those of you who don't know Mizuho, they are a family run business started by a former Trio (Kenwood engineer over 30 years ago.  In all that time they have made strictly QRP rigs and shack accessories.  They are best known for their HF and VHF SSB/CW monoband handhelds, which were made from 1981 until 2002.

Hi, everyone,

I am gradually updating and improving the site.  Some manuals are back, while others will come back when we resolve a power problem with our scanner, hopefully this weekend.  I've added pages for a number of the vintage Mizuho rigs, updated the links page, the amplifiers page, and the P Series page.  I am working on a new navigation bar to replace the boxes at the top of each page that just don't look good.

What I am hoping is that the technical information and pictures are of the quality that you would expect if you are looking to learn about Mizuho gear.  I am ALWAYS open to suggestions about how to improve the site.

If you haven't yet, please visit http://www.mizuhoradio.com and share your ideas with me.

All the manuals are back on the website and new ones are being added all the time.  There are more pictures, more models of Mizuho gear covered, and updated links.

Also, the Mizuho reflector (e-mail list) is going strong with around 75 members.

If you are at all interested in Mizuho gear visit http://www.mizuhoradio.com
