If you want to add another frequency to watch on 40 meters for QSO take a look at 7054 to 7058.  I find a lot of old timers and glowbugs.   Recently also a lot of newcomers to CW, so the speed is normally a little slower than on the low end of the band.

Not sure why this region of the bands attracts so many old Drakes, etc. but  fellow hams do seem to hang there now days.

That is where the Fists and SKCC members hang out.
SKCC is using 7114 for an Elmer frequency now, so
there will be newbies to work there. Fridays being
Novice Day.
