Hello to all QRPers. I finished last nigt one of the first units of the dual
bander- the new kit from Hendricks) built by an European ham. The rig runs a solid 5 watts on 17 and 40m and the
selectivity of the receiver is very good. Perhaps the pass band is to narrow for
my taste, but i have to test it more. I have made some interesting contacts
while i was aligning the receiver with good sigs. Now, the problem: (If a kit
has not any problem, you would be borried of it!). I notice a slight bf noise
probably coming from the processor. Putting momentary the pin 20 of the chip to
earth trough a 1000 Mf capacitor, it dissapears. Someone has any experience
whith it?
