I have the two mentioned antennas that are used. There is a switch box, on the antenna, which I think changes the polarity of the antenna from right to left circular? It has a lenght of coax, to the switch box, that has been cut off. The manual doesn't say much about this switch. Is there suppose to be some kind of controller in the shack to switch the antenna or can you just apply 12vdc to it? What is the benifit of this? Thanks Louie

I have the 22C (now in a box in my attic) and believe that there was a relay in the switch box. All you did was run the voltage (12VDC?) from the shack to the switch box and that switched the thing. This sometimes made a big difference even on land QSO's!
