For the most part, I love the Eham site.  But, that turned on it's side Gigaparts add has GOT to go!  IMHO, it's quite unprofessional looking.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, go to:

and you'll see what I mean

Were you trying to show an animated gif on your webpage? (If so, you failed)

Anyway, the advertisers design their own ads.  If one seems goofy to you, well, then I guess the ad didn't work.  ;-)

Unless the ad is off-color there's really no reason for our not running it.  Advertising is a subjective game - what works for one customer won't for another.

You could email Gigaparts with your opinion of the ad - they might listen to you as a potential customer.

Well the problem isn't with the ad, but the fact that it's turned 90 degrees on it's side.  If that's how Gigaparts wants it, then so be it.

FWIW - I mentioned it (the fact that the ad was turned) to the eHam team as well several weeks ago and was told that's the way Giga wanted it.

Apparently they wanted it to "stand out".  I guess it worked!

Got your attention, didn't it?  Guess the ad worked.
