I currently own an Icom 746 (not the Pro).  I used to have a Yaesu FT-900.  I am not so concerned with the 2meter band as I have other vhf/uhf equipment.  I was wandering which radio is the better of the two.  I have not owned the radios during the same time period, so I never did any "side by side" comparison.  Each has good merits, but I feel I may have gotten better overall performance from the FT-900.  Can enyone help me make up my mind?
