Did you try your RG-59?
Check with your local cable TV installers. Get some RG-6, Or even better, RG-11. They toss out short "spool ends" of both. A few donuts should get you some........
If you need to spend money on coax, Times LMR-400 is the good stuff for VHF/UHF up to a 70 or so foot run.
Belden RG-213 is best for HF use.
I would just check on the mail order companies and buy from the cheapest. I WOULD buy the name brands.
Some "clone" MIGHT be OK or might NOT be OK..... For a few pennies difference I would not take the chance.
