i'm waiting for my fcc database listing, and need a bit of advice: life/work schedule and location leave me dependant on internet for info.
i found an aea qt-1 antenna tuner on ebay, but it's without the transformer/power cord, which lights up the dial. the owner's manual has no useful info or details on this part.
how do i find info or spec for this cord? is there a qt-1 owner out there with access to this info?
is this a universal part, so whatever fits the connector will work?
many thanks!

According to the specs for this product, the power cord is only needed to illuminate the cross-needle meter and serves no other purpose.  I'd just use the tuner without it.

None of my "illuminated" meters are ever illuminated (I don't plug any of them in) and they all work fine and are very readable.

Supply it with 12 volts, give or take, and you should be fine. But as wik says totally unnecessary.
