Good Evening,

My name is Ben, k0BLR. I am saving up to buy a used TS-2000. What I was wondering if any else has produced a demo video of what all the TS-2000 can do other than crossbanding. There is not much on the TS-2000 for you tube.

thanks & 73,

Ben K0BLR

I'm sure the manual is on the manufacturer's website and you can see all the tricks.  it does full duplex for satellite work, which is similar to crossband repeat.

The Kenwood TS-2000 is a great radio that pretty much "does it all"  If a person could only have one radio, the TS-2000 would be that radio.
I saw one for sale good used right here on Eham just a few days ago for 950 dollars, There is one on right now for 1250. So that is the price range they are selling for right now. Lots of radio for that kind of money.

a demo video of what all the TS-2000 can do

Well, it receives and transmits and does CW and has knobs that can be turned.  Don't know what a video would do that reading the spec sheet wouldn't take care of.

I have a TS-2000, but I also have a FT-950.  If you do not need 144 and 440 and you will never use Sky-Command get the FT-950

I own TS2000X.

That radio does everything and does it well.  Both HF and VHF /UHF.  Excellent for SATELLITE.

Great CW rig.  Great audio.  You won't go wrong getting a TS2000.  it beats FT847 hands down.  And beats FT2000 - I hear the Yaesu FT2000 is a Pizza Radio, a pizza junk......

Just do a "bench desk check" of the specs side by side and you'll see how much better the TS2000 is.  Kenwood TS2000 great radio.
