I'm curious as to how you drilled a 3/4 inch hole for a NMO mount, and then decided "Oh whoopsie, this ain't gonna workie?""

We used special NMO mount drill bits.  And, there have been times when we hit roofs or other body metal that was double-layered; but we always were able to finish the job.

OK, here's the post before yours. Point out the date's relevance to your post.  Or even the topic's relevance for that matter. 

Your reply was aimed at a post made 7 years ago, was it not?  But that's OK, people love getting advice 7 years after the fact, I'm sure.
