I'm from northern Wisconsin but often travel to Minneapolis/St. Paul during the year.  Usually I'm in the area of Richfield and Bloomington, near the airport.  What are my best bets for open repeaters in the area in terms of reception and traffic?

444.100 is a great bunch of guys.  I just listen in but they talk about current events, news, sports, ham stuff - antenna's, setups, etc., and the like.

There are a couple others, I'll post more hopefully today.

Sorry I didn't post right away, it's been a couple (!!) of weeks.  Some repeaters you will find active at about 5pm M-F are:

143.450
145.370
444.650
146.850
147.210
146.760
147.180

Good discussions ranging from antennas to current events to lawn care... you name it.
