As I am just getting into building my first station, can somebody please tell me which are the more popular logging programs?  I am looking for something full featured that runs on Windows.

Take a look at MixW, it has most of the digital modes and a great logging feature: http://tav.kiev.ua/~nick/mixw2/

I saw you ? concerning logging software.  My full call is KC4CD/HR2.  I am looking for something that is not so full feature.  I just want to be able and send the logs back to my manager in the U.S. via e-mail.  If you run across something that I might be interested in please send it my way.  There doesn't seem to be a lot available.

hey guys..
i am currently writing a logging program for ham radio.
i am writing it in ms access.
it is pretty basic, but i am a good access programmer, so it runs nicely.
if you would like to try a copy, there is no charge.

let me know.

you might try DXKeeper
   - award tracking and progress reporting
   - identifies QSLs required to achieve objectives
   - QSL card and label generation
   - realtime interface to eQSL.cc
   - comprehensive sorting and filtering
   - 32-bit implementation built on Jet database engine (the engine on which Access is built)
   - interoperates with other DXLab applications
     * Commander for transceiver control
     * DXView for DX info display, rotator control
     * WinWarbler for soundcard PSK and RTTY
     * SpotCollector for DX spot capture & analysis
     * PropView for propagation prediction & monitoring
     * Pathfinder for QSL route determination
   - free and no advertising
   - available via www.qsl.net/dxlab
