I am using Echolink mobile and it works great to allow me to use my 220 rig at home to keep in touch with my local friends when I do my 300 mile weekly business trip.

My problem is I dont like taking my eyes off the road to press the space bar. Has anyone found a way to go into transmit and back to receive using a switch on a mic?

Thank you for any help you can send my way.

I believe there is a setting in echolink that will allow vox.  However, I would not recommend this unless you have 1)a headset, and 2) noise canceling built into the headset mic.

Good to hear that you are working echolink mobile! I was wondering if there is a program for blackberry that you could use the data package to connect to echolink. That would be a great ht upgrade for the blackberry.

Don't know about the blackberry but the iphone echolink application is fantastic! I use it all the time when traveling, waiting for something and want to connect to friends and family. You can download it from the iTunes store.
