Hello,
there is indeed programming software for the Alinco DJV5.
It is by RT systems. BUT, it is no longer available.
http://www.rtsystemsinc.com/alinco_template.cfmI searched as I went, the bottom has more relevant data for you.
A lot of 3rd party programming software and data appears to have vanished.
I only have the trial version, it worked/works fine for 30 days.
I made my own interface for it also, but I can not find the circuit or source any more??
There is an USB programming cable for it,

http://www.alinco.com/pdf.files/Some nice Russians have what looks like a DOS version programmer for the DJV5.
It is called, djall.exe
http://hamradio.online.ru/ftp/djall.exeI gave it a whirl, the exe expands into a folder with 3 files in it.
Before it would run, I had to right click the djall.exe and change its compatability mode to win95.
A little shortcut for it then appeared.
It ran OK, and looks similar to what RT once had, maybe there was some disagreement between the two.
There is also a DJV5 users group on Yahoo Groups.
Cheers, Kevin.
