I have a tait 2040 and would like the schematics for the programming lead. Can anyone help me.

Here is it,You might need just 3 cables and connect to the Com1 or 2 to your pc. The connections are the followigs:
Rs232/db9:
1 & 4 short
7 & 8 short
2 connect to pin 2 on RJ plug
3 connect to pin 6 on RJ plug
5 connect to pin 5 on RJ plug

 at me, it works but I've not the right sofware, just for 2020 but does communicate. Can I have somehow the 2040 software?

Hi everybody HELP can anybody help me find software to program mine 2040 for use in the 403/470 Mhz? Thanx and hope for response Bye for now!
