VX7 Commander Help

Can anyone help with vx7 commander. I ordered the pc cable and ct-91 from RT systems. I have the cable connected into com 1 the cable connects to a 1/4 to 3/32 inch adapter, which then plugs into the 3/32" port on the CT-91. I have vx7 commander set to com 1, but when I try to send to the computer it times out every try. Any ideas?

I had a problem at first also. I didn't have the plug threaded completly into the jack of the radio. See if you can give it a few more turns and make better contact. What OS are you running. Mine works on Win 2K.

Help needed.

I was trying to post a message on this forum and cant figure it out.How can I post a message/request for assistance?
My problem:
I've been trying to download the vx7 commander software from the vx7 commander software site.
After I downloaded it I can't get it to open! I keep getting an error message on my computer....it says:
" There was an error opening this document. File does not begin with %PDF."
Sorry to bother u when you have your own problems.Any help appreciated.

Go to the Commander web site. They have FYI area that will help you fix it.
