Have anyone had a problem Programing the Kenwood
TM-D710A using the microphone to enter frequencys?
the only keys that work is the 3,4,C,D,#,*,2 1 PTT

Sounds like your mic is broken. 

Could be as simple as a broken internal connection or bad keypad. 

Could be as complicated as the DTMF chip or an associated component needing replaced.

I was trying to program this for our SATERN site.  We found that the menu has a control for the mic buttons.  This can be set to basically shut off the buttons (and is the default setting.)  You can change this to allow all the mic buttons to work.   I don't remember the exact steps, but if you were to look at the menu instructions and listings for the microphone, you will find it.
