Hey y'all what is a good simple PC logging program to use? Just general logging is really all I need, cuz I dont do contesting.

N3FJP has the most user friendly logging program that I have seen.  Give it a try.  While not free, you can try it for a limited time before purchasing and the price is only $19.  I've looked at several logging programs and think that this is the easiest one to use.

Take a look at DXLab Software's DXKeeper. It's freeware designed for general logging and light contesting. It is supported very well by the author, Dave Bernstein AA6YQ, and is frequently updated. DXLab's web site is: http://www.qsl.net/dxlab/ If you decide to download, I recommend one of the mirror sites. QSL.net is terribly slow.

Try Ham Radio Deluxe.  It's free, great rig control and a very good logging program with cluster interface.  Another good one is MixW, but it cost about $50.  Try HRD, price is right!

I will concur with some of the other hams here and say that N3FJP ACLOGGER is very user friendly and inexpensive.

If you're running Linux then xlog is the one.  See:  http://pg4i.mattsnetwork.co.uk/linux/xlog.html
