I'm looking for recommendations on a logging program for general operating, not for contests.  My list of "must have" features is short:

1) Runs on a pc with Windows xp
2) Easy to learn and use
3) Tracks grid squares
4) Prints QSL labels

Thanks in advance for your comments and recommendations!

N3FJP's ACLOG will fit the bill.  It is VERY user friendly.

Hi-

Please also check out my LOGic 7.  It does everything you mention.  In particular, it's "DX" spotting facility spots needed grid squares, and its callbook facility auto-logs grid squares for stateside QSOs.

DXLab meets all of your requirements, and is free. www.qsl.net/dxlab

DXLab's DXKeeper will fit your needs nicely. I have been using it for several months, even for some light contesting, along with several other parts of the suite: Launcher, DXView, Pathfinder, and SpotCollector. The price is right (freeware) and it is fully supported via a Yahoo group.

Funny nobody yet mentioned Logger32. It is simple to use but got a lot of extra's for those who need a particular option. And it is FREE.
