12 meters was open across the U.S. today...good signals from Four and Five-Lands. Pays to call CQ on 24.930, catch some of those capable of both the CB Mode *AND* the Music Mode.... 1830 was the time for me.

On the 13th I worked Michigan and Indiana on 6m CW.  
Imagine my surprise to get a return to my slow CQ on 50.090!

I truly envy you, OM...Out here in the extreme N/W corner of the US, 6 meters is almost a blank. I don't even own any gear for that band anymore. Something to be said for The Heartland....... other than Tornadoes and Lightening!   HI HI
