I have an Ameritron 811H that has the relay input (RCA) and it works well with my FT1KD, but I would like to run it with my FT-897D also.
From what I can understand from the manual I need to use other than an RCA/Plug connector.
I also, at the moment use HRD with a Signalink and my 2 multipin I/O's are in use and I really don't want to take either out.
I know I don't need the linear on digital except RTTY at times.
Is there a way to key the linear with the 897 using another source? I did think of a foot switch (which I have) but I would like it to be automatic.
Thanks for your help.
