Wen to take test for general the vecs would not give me my test. They said they did not have to give me my test because they said I was not a very professional amatuer and I did not even know theese guys but they refused to give me my test and that I should take it elsewhere. I am getting blammed for someting I have not done . They would nor even discuss this.

You must have forgotten to bring the two sworn, notarized affadavits of good personal character with you. So, what did you do to tick these guys off? They must know you. There is very little reason for a VE team to refuse an examinee. As long as you have your ID's, the fee, and a copy of your license, they should allow the test. Your options: - Find another VE team and take their exam - File a formal complaint to their VEC - File a formal complaint to the FCC b.

No I do not know any of them they just say they know me. They would not even discuss this with me. They said they had the right not to test me and they would not.It went nowhere. So I left. They call us amateurs for a reason. Do not worry I am still getting my general.

This is why some people belive ham radio operators are clickie. Its sad they would not even talk to me about this.So I am not giving up I am going around them. Supposedly they think I am the keer chunker in this area . This person is kerchunking repeaters around here and they think its me. I heard this after I left via another ham. Nobody has ever mentioned it before. And I am being tried and convicted before even going to trial. And we are supposed to bring new blood into this hobby. They did not stop me but all they did was light a fire in me to stop this kind of stuff. Again everyone out here that has helped me in the last couple of weeks thanks.

Hmmmm
Is there more to this than you're telling us? Hard to see why several people in a group came to the same conclusion.
I happened across another site (Gamespot) where you have evidently been unjustly treated and don't understand why.
Did you ask these folks why they're refusing to deal with you?
What else is there to this "poor me" tale?

Sorry, I had a typo!
Under KC8KTN I don't see any issues on ULS...you should be good to go.
"Clique" is spelled that way, not "click." But I have no idea why anyone would choose to discriminate. Did you ask for a specific reason?
"Repeater" activities would be a terrible answer, since those represent about 1% of amateur radio activities and they're not internationally regulated -- it's all local stuff.
I'd say go take the test at another location.
we have dozens of them here in L.A., and tests are given almost every Saturday morning at a dozen locations.

"I did not do anything to derserve this pease answer my emails to customer suport .. Iam not getting a fair shake thats all."
It seems as if this has happened before. You might have to review what you might have done that would provoke their response?

"You might have to review what you might have done that would provoke their response? "It seems as if this has happened before."
Are you still running an illegal radio into an illegal amplifier and causing RFI problems in the neighborhood? (2950 into Palomar "440")
KC8KTN on OCT 29, 2009 "My neighbor 2 houses down from me 200 feet is complaining about my 10 meter radio bleedover. The interferance he complains of is I am comming over his tv stereo and phones. Iam running a palomar 440 with the 2950."
KC8KTN Feb 25, 2010 "What is this 75 meters thing I see."
KC8KTN Dec 18, 2009 "Iam going to operate on 10 meters and 12 meters what are the correct frequencys for my tech no code lic."
KC8KTN Feb 27 "Do not worry I am still getting my general."
Worry? Licensed over a decade and you still don't know your *current* ticket's frequency priviledges?

First of all I have been honest with this site in adressing my issues. And I allready got my Icom 718 and tested it with my nieghbor. So I am good to go. This has to due with a lawsuit going on in the nieghboring city not even with me . But this lawsuit has to do with some cb stuff not with me .. I have a cb radio in my garage when I would come home from work and talk in the garage on the cb radio after some beers its gets out of hand. This lawsuit has to go on with one of the examiners and so on and so forth . But because of cb stuff that it would take to much time to expain. What has this got to do with my ham licence . Somebody else is kerchunking repeater. This hobby of ours is really lacking.I have alot to offer and this is crap.

To throw my cards on the table . I am 49years old going on 50 this October. I have been involved with this hobby for along time. I was in the Navy for 4 years in 1978-1982. I was an Operation Specialist aka radarman. I was here in the middle 1970s durning C.W. Mcall convoy into radio and a shortwave person way before the internet. All Iam saying is I have a perfect driving record I can pass a fbi back ground check for a gun licence. I have had my ticket since 1998 and to be turned away is a joke. Sometimes I think all we are to people are glorrified cb radio operators. Not to mention my one sons in the marines in Okinawa Japan. And my daughters in Elthroth air force base in South Dakota.I am really let down. But tommorrows a new day. I will over come this. Also never been arrested or never a dui . I get along with my neighbors. This is has been a hard year for me lost my job with almost 16 years . Company moved and sold itself.I am in Michigan. Also 2 weeks later my Dad passed away. Not asking for sympathy . Just a fair shot. This is such crap.
