Installing Ham Radio Deluxe

Can someone please provide me with the steps to install HRD?  I have downloaded the 4.1 version, but don't want to go any farther until I have guidance. Thank you for any help.

Join the HRD group on Yahoo. Describe to the group your transceiver, computer capabilities and rig interface. They will help you in getting HRD up and running.

BTW: You should download Ver.5.0, 4.1 is too old.

Download the beta 5.0 version. It's fantastic, and doesn't feel like a beta

Hi Richard,
If you run the 5.0 version, you will need to download the stand alone log book.  I like the 4.1 since it has all the features I need at this time.

The 5.0 I have has a logbook in it.

Yes, Ver 5.0 has the log book and DM 780 for all your digital needs.

Thanks guys, I stand corrected, now ya have me curious. I read the desc on the DL page and it said they removed stuff in the new version. Maybe I should give it a shot.
