My beautiful Bugcatcher coil (with mast) was literally ripped off my car last night. I had forgotten to take it off and stow it, as I usually did - stupid me. It was a 4" x 10" job, that easily resonated down to 3600kHz with a six-foot whip. It worked VERY well.

The BugCatcher folks have gone out of business, although Henry said he would continue to sell existing stock. I have emailed Henry, hoping against hope. I suppose I can fabricate a replacement if I must, but I certainly hope I can find a real one somewhere - they are built so well.

It may be worth taking a walk around the area. A lot of this sort of thing is casual vandalism, and they frequently play with it a while and toss it when they get tired of it.

Definitely a crime. Vandalism,

I did look around, but no luck.

Anybody have a Bugcatcher 480 coil to sell?
